KAS Biotech Limited was established to close a simple but urgent gap: healthcare providers in Tanzania and across East Africa needed diagnostic tools that were accurate, affordable and reliably in stock — not delayed by long import chains or inconsistent supply.

We built our production, quality assurance and distribution capability locally, so that a clinic in Dar es Salaam or a health post further inland can count on the same rigorously tested kit, batch after batch. Today, our rapid test kits and consumables support diagnostic decisions for mothers, families and entire communities every single day.
